Dear New Neighbor,

On behalf of the Edgewater Beach Corporation (EBC) Board of Directors and the homeowners of Edgewater Beach and Chestnut Hill, we welcome you to our community and we look forward to meeting you soon. You will learn that this is a very friendly neighborhood where someone is always willing to offer a helping hand or just answer questions. There are several opportunities to meet your neighbors throughout the year. We regularly host social events, such as cookouts with cornhole tournaments, chili competitions, happy hours, as well as other fun activities. Please check the calendar for updates!

The operation of the EBC is governed by a volunteer board of directors. The board is responsible for maintaining the community-owned properties, handling the financial responsibilities of the corporation, and overseeing our members’ compliance with the established rules and guidelines. There is a monthly board meeting, held on the second Tuesday of each month, to which all homeowners are invited.

There is a modest annual membership fee of $160 (for residents 65 and older, the dues are $115 annually). These voluntary dues allow the corporation to maintain our community beach properties, marina, boat ramp, and host community events. Dues-paying members can reserve the beach shelter for parties, lease a boat slip, gain entry to the boat ramp, and help to maintain our community assets. We also ask for volunteer help occasionally to handle beach clean-up or other tasks.

Please email the Membership Director, Donna Doyle at [email protected], with your name, address, and phone number so we can get you onboard.

Again, welcome to the community! We know you’ll find this neighborhood to be a great place to live and we encourage your participation in our activities and functions.

Sincerely,
Edgewater Beach Corporation Board
